Victoria Wineries & Vineyards

Take a trip to this cider house and enjoy the experience of cider and cheese tasting. With stunning ocean and orchard views, visitors can browse the hand crafted farm products and walk the complimentary orchard tour.

Winchester Winery now brings handmade gin to the island. Made in small batches for quality, it has notes of juniper, citrus, floral and spice. Batches are wood fired. Their distillery can be visited at Barking Dog Vineyard on the weekends. Call in advance to ensure opening hours.

Chalet Winery (also known as Muse Winery) specializes in hand-crafted wines, made with care and inspiration. It is a boutique winery that makes limited edition wines using little to no added sulphites. Visitors are welcome to visit and do a tasting for a nominal fee, which is refunded if a purchase is made. There is a bistro on the premises where visitors can relaxe and enjoy the wine outdoors with gourmet food. This winery is located just seven minutes from the Victoria airport in Deep Cove in North Saanich.

Barking Dog Vineyard specializes in organic wine.

Wine tours, tastings and a light meal are offered at this winery. A large wrap-around bar welcomes guests under a high-ceiling-ed West Coast warehouse. The tasting bar is open Friday to Sunday from noon to 5pm. Lunch is available in the spring and summer.
