Victoria Sushi

Futaba Japanese Restaurant has been serving Victoria since 1981. They offer an extensive menu of healthy Japanese cuisine, with the option of brown rice with all their main courses and sushi. They also have many delicious vegetarian items on their menu.

Open since 1995, this sushi restaurant must be doing something right. Located at Douglas Centre near Burnside Road, they are open for lunch and dinner daily but closed on Sundays. Their menu is comprised of complete dinners or a la carte items of temaki, tempura, don buri, sashimi, tataki, udon, maki and sashimi. Specialty rolls include Rob's Roll, Victoria roll, Vancouver roll, scallop roll and ninja roll. Free delivery for those in a three mile radius with orders over $30.

Located at the Bear Mountain Resort, Kuma is a sushi restaurant that features contemporary sushi and a modern decor to match. Try one of their signature dishes such as the California crunch, a deep fried California roll.

A classic Japanese decor complements a classic Japanese menu at Shizen. Choose to sit at the sushi bar, tatami room or floor seating. They are located near Victoria's Chinatown.

Located in Oak Bay, which is tea house central in Victoria, this particular tea house specialises in green tea as opposed to the regular English brew. Chiba Sushi is one of Victoria's most recognizable Japanese restaurants because of its prominent location on Government Street at Gorge Road with its blue and red frontage. They have a large menu of udon and soba, sashimi and sushi, rolls, teppan-yaki and tempura. Menu highlights include crab cake, beef and chicken terriyaki, Chiba roll, Kobe roll, and Victoria roll. Eat in or get free delivery within a three mile radius with $20 minimum orders after 5pm.

Shima Sushi is located in the heart of downtown Victoria. The menu consists of affordable Japanese cuisine and sushi.

Once home to an elegant French restaurant, Ebizo offers sushi and Japanese cuisine in a sophisticated, bustling environment. Located in downtown Victoria, reservations recommended.

Shiki Sushi offers the best of traditional style sushi as well as sushi with a modern twist. Reservations are accepted.

They specialize in take-out food with pre-packaged sushi available in a cooler at the cash register. The offerings are made daily. While there is no inside seating, there are benches availble outside.
