Tourism Victoria and the Victoria branch of the BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association (BCRFA) organizes the event. Watch for participating restaurants around town, each offering three-course menus for $20, $30 or $40 CDN per person. Participants have included Smoken Bones Cookshack, Sen Zushi, Fiamo Italian Kitchen, Chandler's Seafood, The Empress Room and Bon Rouge. There are around 60 restaurants in all to choose from.
Overnight stays are available at participating accommodations value-priced at $69, $79, $99 and $129.

Every August 1, the Victoria Symphony Orchestra performs a two-hour concert of classical music from a barge anchored in the Inner Harbour. A traditional performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture features cannons being fired by the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets.
