Annual Festival of Trees

Every year the Empress hotel pays host to more than 100 Christmas trees decorated by various companies and associations from around the city. These organizations, by having a tree in the festival, sponsor and help raise funds for the BC Children's Hospital. Visitors can stroll through the trees from mid-November through January.

Christmas at the Butchart Gardens

With strolling carolers, a brass band, and more than 30,000 lights, this annual holiday festival is Victoria's largest public Christmas celebration. There is also an open skating rink and a 12 days of Christmas display. With kids entertainment, this event offers something for the whole family.
