Hosted by the James Bay Market Society, this is Victoria's annual community seed and garden show for everyone itching to get growing. Featured are non-GMO, open-pollinated, organic and heritage flower and vegetable seeds direct from the growers. Small nurseries offer specialty and native plants, small fruits, nut trees, perennials and bulbs. You will also find vegetable seedlings, herbs, mason bee boxes, garden products, regional food products, displays and demonstrations, seed exchange, kids' activity room, Seedy Cafe, and expert speakers. Topics range from successfully growing tomatoes or citrus fruits, to the history of native bees, to creating food systems in our region. Featuring a fabulously fun Children's Corner sponsored by Par-T-Perfect Victoria and Tumblebums Play Centre and Toy Shop, dynamic and interactive exhibitors, engaging and informative speakers, door prizes, loot bags for the first 100 families to visit us, and so much more!
