Marion Morrison was recently awarded the esteemed top prize,“Best in Show,” at the
Sidney Fine Art Show, October, 2009.
Marion’s bold and bright abstract paintings typify energetic freedom in motion. Her love of colour, shape and texture combine as driving forces of creative expression pleasing to the senses and evocative of shared emotion.
Morrison studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design, and is a member of the
Federation of Canadian Artists, Avant G’ Art Group, and Oak Bay Community Artists.

A self guided tour of the studios of 25 artists, working in the fine arts of pottery, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mosaic, fabric, floral, jewellery, woodwork, photography, glass and metal.
