Morrison studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design, and is a member of the

These organizations, by having a tree in the festival, sponsor and help raise funds for the BC Children's Hospital. Visitors can stroll through the trees from mid-November through January.

Nov 20 to Dec 20 The 50 best-dressed teddy bears in Victoria will be on display at the elegant Hotel Grand Pacific in downtown Victoria as part of Bear Wear, the signature fundraising event of the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children. The dressed-up bears will be displayed in the lobby of the Hotel Grand Pacific throughout the holiday season and are available for purchase by silent auction. Bears are dressed and donated by local businesses and include many valuable extras like restaurant and activity packages, celebrity memorabilia, toys, recreational equipment and original art.
Come down to the Hotel Grand Pacific, view the bears and bid on a favourite. Kids under age fourteen are invited to enter the free raffle for a chance to take a very unique teddy home for the holidays.
Funds raised at Bear Wear will help the Queen Alexandra (QA)Foundation purchase equipment and provide funding the QA Early Intervention Program. This special program provides support to young children - newborn to age five - living in Greater Victoria and on the Southern Gulf Islands who have either been diagnosed with special challenges or are at risk for not meeting regular developmental milestones.

The atmosphere of these events are always electric with positive energy and goodwill. It is a time each year when members of not only the exotic dance community, but anyone touched by cancer can come together for a common and important cause.
