The VDBA is a non profit organization which fosters, develops and promotes baseball through the encouragement of sportsmanship, team play and good citizenship. They aim to provide scholarships and bursaries to qualified applicants, assist members, co-operate with the various Parks Boards and preserve and protect memorabilia associated with the history of baseball in Victoria.
