Supporting the development of dancers and choreographers and increasing public knowledge of contemporary dance forms are the mandates of this company. Known as the producer and curator of the annual ROMP festival, the company features an eclectic and thought-provoking repertoire of productions, showcased locally and around the globe.
Canadian Pacific Ballet is dedicated to the performance and preservation of Romantic and Classical ballet through performance, whether reaching audiences in an opera house setting with a full-length narrative classic, or in a park or community center; through the creation of new works in the classical dance vernacular; and through education, both within their comprehensive Apprentice Program, and throughout the community with outreach educational programming.
